Home to the world’s newest theme parks, Ferrari race track, Louvre Abu Dhabi, and state-of-the-art resorts, this magnificent emirate has all the ingredients for an unforgettable holiday.

This 6 day itinerary for Abu Dhabi will help you create your own extraordinary stories to tell.

6 Day Itinerary in Abu Dhabi

Day 1 – Arrive in The City of Culture

Arrive in Abu Dhabi & head to your hotel. With an array of accommodation options available, you would find the perfect stay in your budget and as per your requirement.

First Stop – Head to the Observation Deck at 300. You’ll ascend to the 74th floor of the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers. From here you can admire the views of the city’s dazzling skyline, seaside Corniche, and the amazing landscape beyond. Take a stroll in the corniche. You can either rent a bike or just walk along the paths. Evenings are the best in the corniche.

Sheikh-Zayed-Grand-Mosque

Must in your first day itinerary is the star attraction of Abu Dhabi, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Head to your hotel straight from the mosque & explore the area around your hotel in the evening & dine at one of the many available Arabian restaurants. Try the Mezzeh appetizers, traditional rgag bread, and grilled meats.

Day 2 – Experience Magic at Al Ain 

Hire a cab or take the daily bus tour to Al Ain which is 90 mins away from the city of Abu Dhabi. This is an UNESCO World Heritage site. The magical oasis with historic forts and thousands of date palms will surely mesmerize you and your family.

Visit the camel market which is just outside the town. It’s a must as this is one of the rare remaining camel markets in the world. The impromptu races are perfect for your Instagram feed. Next visit the

Al Ain Heritage and Culture Village. You can enjoy your lunch at the café here and learn about traditional crafts from the local artisans.

Post lunch head to the Al Jahili Fort which was built in the 1890s. After wandering around, stop at the the museum dedicated to the legendary explorer Wilfred Thesiger.

If your kids love visiting zoo, head to Al Ain Zoo which has the rare Arabian oryx & Barbary sheep.

Al Jahili Fort Opening Hours: Daily: 9am to 5pm except Mondays| Friday: 3pm to 5pm

The Al Ain Zoo Opening Hours: Daily 8am-9pm

Day 3 – Take your pick from Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi or the Arabian Wildlife Park

The new Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi Theme Park is spread over 38 acres. This is among the world’s largest indoor theme parks. There are 29 rides and six different themed areas to choose from.

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi Park Operating Hours:

Every day from 10:00am – 08:00pm.

Park Operating Hours During Ramadan Starting 5 May 2019:

On weekdays: Saturday to Wednesday from 10am – 6pm.

On weekends: Thursday and Friday from 10am – 10pm.

Rides & Attractions Opening Hours:

Every day from 11:00am.

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi

Instead you can see some real life animals at the Arabian Wildlife Park, which is just off the coast on Sir Bani Yas Island. There are 10,000 animals to see, from rare Arabian oryx to giraffes, gazelles, and cheetahs. If you are visiting Arabian Wildlife Park, you can spend the night at one of the luxury resorts on Sir Bani Yas Island.

Day 4 – Get in the Adventure Mode

Keep all the action for 4th day as you go on an adventure spree at the Al Forsan International Sports Resort & Ferrari World Abu Dhabi

Head to the Al Forsan International Sports Resort in the morning. Plan your day early for this enormous park that has a wide choice of activities. You can take some laps in a motorized kart on the 1.2-kilometer track. There are specially designed vehicles for kids aged between 8 to 11. Then there is wakeboard or water ski in one of the two lakes, paintball field, and other fun rides to choose from.

The Al Forsan International Sports Resorts opening hours are: Daily 07:00am – 11:00pm

Have your lunch here or on the way to Yas Island for Ferrari World. It’s the first and only Ferrari-themed Park in the world.

Day 5 – A Desert Safari & Louvre Abu Dhabi

Head to the world class Louvre Abu Dhabi in the morning. You would be stunned by its intrinsic architecture.

Opening Hours of Louvre Abu Dhabi: 10am to 8pm from Saturdays to Wednesdays, and from 10am to 10pm on Thursdays and Fridays.

The museum is closed on Mondays

Abu Dhabi Desert Safari

From Louvre head to the real Abu Dhabi. The emirate is not all glittering museums, shopping centers, and theme parks. The vast Al Dhafra region covers almost two-thirds of the emirate. The ancient fortifications, oasis, desert sand, and the fascinating world of shifting dunes is a must include in your Abu Dhabi itinerary.

Spend the complete day here taking part in different activities. Spend the evening here under the fairy lights in desert sand.

Day 6 – Time for Souvenirs
