Al Tawasul Traditional Park

In Al Khor, the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning has opened a conventional public park with plants and animal housing. A more recent addition to Qatar's traditional parks is Tawasul Traditional Park near Al Khor. As part of the Ras Laffan Industrial City Community Outreach Program, Al Tawasul Traditional Park was constructed (RLIC-COP).

The park's 28,500 square meters is divided into a number of recreational spaces - a children's play area, an athlete walkway, and a football field. The environment section, which is roughly 600 square meters, is a distinctive element of this park. There are different kinds of trees and plants here. There are facilities for various animals and birds to live. Children get to learn a lot about nature and the environment by visiting this place.
