Bratislava Castle

Bratislava CastleBratislava Castle used to be the place from where the rulers ruled. Today, it is a symbol of Bratislava and home to the Museum of History. Head to the 47 meters high crown tower to enjoy the breathtaking view of the city and the nearby countries. In olden times, royal coronation jewels were kept in this tower.

 

Grassalkovich Palace

Grassalkovich PalaceThis summer palace built in 18th century in Rococo style was well known for having a rich social life. Moreover, it was a popular place as composer Joseph Haydn once performed here. But now the times have changed and it is currently the resident of the President of the Slovak Republic.

 

Slavín

SlavinSlavín holds the crown of being Central Europe’s largest war memorial with a height of 52 meters. 6845 soldiers who sacrificed their lives for their country in World War II are buried here.
